About the Foundation

Emma’s attitude and memory spurs us on to help others. 

In supporting a range of organisations that supported Emma by April 2024 the Foundation had provided over £800,000 of support to good causes. All our partner organisations supported Emma and we see the Foundation as a piece of a charitable jigsaw in ensuring funds are allocated to specific organisations we know provide fantastic support. We also support those organisations in providing funding to assist young people with cancer work on their ambitions.

The Foundation is particularly proud to have established the Sleep Tight Sitting Service with Glasgow Children's Hospital and CHAS, which is now funded exclusively by the Foundation and provided by CHAS throughout Scotland. Sleep Tight is designed to support children with cancer and their families at the end of life to allow them to stay at home.

A cancer diagnosis is devastating for the child and their family. Many things can be done to improve the quality of life of these children and we have seen at first hand what can bring a smile to an ill child, what can make going to school easier and what can make life easier for the whole family.
